Professional Journey
Ed’s professional path spans a wide range of roles and industries, giving him a uniquely well-rounded understanding of how people, systems, and facilities operate. His early career included work at Keystone Rustproofing, Glenshaw Glass Company, Siemens, NewBury, and Dalton’s Edge, where he held roles ranging from CDL driver and bar manager to inspector, production worker, painter, and service technician. Each position strengthened his adaptability, problem-solving skills, and comfort stepping into environments that demand reliability and quick thinking.
Those skills came together as he moved into property and facilities management. Ed developed a deep appreciation for the day-to-day realities of keeping buildings running—balancing technical tasks with communication, coordination, and customer service. His ability to understand how things work (and how they break) became a defining strength, giving him the practical judgment required to make sound decisions under pressure.
At Elmhurst, Ed brings this breadth of experience to the seven buildings he manages. He is known for his steady presence, hands-on approach, and willingness to dig into issues until they’re resolved. Whether he’s coordinating vendors, navigating after-hours emergencies, or helping a tenant through a stressful moment, Ed’s background allows him to bring calm, clarity, and momentum to every challenge. His impact is felt daily in the smooth, reliable operation of the properties tenants depend on.
Reliable spaces make thriving businesses possible.
