Rose Gazdik
Staff Accountant

Professional Journey
Rose joined Elmhurst in 2007 and has grown alongside the firm’s portfolio for nearly two decades. Each week, she processes incoming invoices in the Yardi system, cuts checks, records tenant payments, and tracks quarterly tax obligations, American Express activity, and other operating expenses. She also manages inter-office and tenant billbacks and works closely with teammates like Erin, Diane, and Maria, as well as vendors across the region, to keep information flowing smoothly between the field and the office. Her consistency and familiarity with Elmhurst’s processes make her a trusted point of continuity for the entire team.
Earlier in her career, Rose built a strong foundation in accounting within the trades. As an accountant for a plumbing company from 2002 to 2007, she handled billing, payables, and administrative duties, requiring close coordination with technicians, suppliers, and customers. That experience reinforced the value of clear records, timely payments and practical communication, especially in environments where every day can bring unexpected needs or changes.
Before that, Rose spent six years with New Philadelphia City Schools in Ohio, working across accounting and administrative functions. Supporting a public school system taught her how to manage complex, recurring transactions while staying attentive to the people behind the numbers. Across these roles, she developed the habits she relies on at Elmhurst today: staying organized, anticipating what others will need next, and treating every interaction as part of a long-term working relationship.
Buildings succeed when people inside them feel supported.
Character Shaping Contribution
Each Elmhurst team member brings a distinct sense of purpose — shaped by interests, values, and perspectives that extend beyond the office. These glimpses into life outside work reveal the same qualities that define Elmhurst’s culture of care, discipline, and long-term vision.
